In 2002 I jumped into the sport of triathlon with both feet. I fell in love with the sport and was excited to watch my progress.
Ever mindful of the competitive women in my age group I looked for ways to improve my performance. I met Dr. Coyne at a lecture provided by my coach and quickly sought out Dr. Coyne’s advice. He developed a program for me with an emphasis on increasing the efficiency of my body mass.
Although I was not overweight, I was overfat. Following Dr. Coyne’s program, I very quickly lost weight and body fat. My body fat percentage dropped dramatically to 11.8%.
With the health and efficiency afforded by Dr. Coyne’s program, I completed my first Ironman in the top 10 women of my age group. I was healthy before during and after the event.
The success afforded me by Dr. Coyne’s simple diet plan is still used as a case study at training camps to demonstrate the effects of a solid nutrition plan. One of the most impressive things about his plan, I believe, is that the results can always be replicated simply by following the plan.
Admittedly, I have tried other plans to see if there is anything better but always return to the basic principles of Dr. Coyne’s program.
As an endurance athlete, I rely on Dr. Coyne’s expertise and advice to ensure solid performances.
